Sure, you may not be able to understand someones speech. You may not understand why they eat what they eat, celebrate this or that holiday. Dancing? Yea…
But at the end of the day, isn’t there a common human element? Hatred, Love, emotion and desire? Break through the communication barrier and I think you will find that you and I aren’t so different.
I recently moved to Prague, CZ to teach English and figured creating a blog may be a valuable endeavor so I don’t forget this chapter of my life.
The beer here sometimes makes it… quite forgetful.
I have only been here for a week and I am getting anxious for a bit more cultural immersion, but our TEFL class is pretty rigorous. The sights, sounds, girls and beer make it all worth the while.
It’s a funny thing going to somewhere foreign. It challenges your perceptions on what it means to live a “normal life” And some absurdities of America. Likewise, the ridiculousness of this place.
I will try to keep you guys posted with some pictures and stuff.
